Credit Card Charges

Last summer, my company helped host the Compumag 2003 Conference held in Saratoga Springs, New York. If you have a credit card charge from Genfo, please check with your staff to see if someone attended this conference.

No Spam!

Recently several bulk emailers have been sending unwanted email with a return address as genfo.com. There is nothing Genfo can do about this abuse. Unfortunately, anyone can masquerade as a user on the genfo.com domain.

Not a relay! The genfo.com machine is not being used as a relay. Genfo has protected itself against relaying since 1996. The bulk emailer is simply spoofing the From: field in the email message. Anyone can do this quite easily with Eudora, Outlook, or most any other email program.

Unless you have a specific business relationship with Genfo, Inc., you will never receive email from me.
