The Medical Terminology Software Supplement

Delmar Publishers asked us to write a Windows software supplement for Ann Ehrlich's Medical Terminology text. The application we created includes four different kinds of tests and five games. Two of the games can be played against another student or the computer.

The four tests are Multiple-Choice, Fill-In-The-Blank, Labelling, and the Speed Test. There is a different set of exercises for each chapter in the book. The mulitple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions are randomly drawn from a pool of questions for each chapter.

The five games are Concentration, Hangman, Crossword, The Board Game, and Tic-Tac-Toe. In The Board Game and Tic-Tac-Toe, you can play against another student or the computer. To make a move in each of these games, you must first correctly answer a question. The questions are randomly drawn from the same pool of questions used for the exercises.
